There are 2 main methods used for installing the Tencon Fast Base Foundation System. Both methods are very similar to those currently used for constructing conventional cast in-situ foundations:
The "In Trench" Method_Thumb.gif)
Trenches for the ground beams are excavated then shuttered. Those trenches are backfilled where necessary and finally Tencon Concrete is cast in-situ.

The whole plot area is excavated and cleared. Steel reinforced formwork is laid out on the cleared site. Backfilling in and around the plot is usually carried out to provide additional support to the formwork for the concrete pour. Tencon Concrete is then cast in-situ.
