Piling And Trench Excavation

Pile And Excavate Trenches

Piles are installed by specialist piling contractors. Virtually all types of pile are compatible with Tencon Fast Base.

Trenches are excavated to the designed widths and depths. Typical trench widths are 500mm. Ground beam sections are typically between 500mm and 600mm deep.

 

Tencon Fast Base Foundation Installation:
The installation process is similar to that used for constructing conventional cast in-situ foundations.

There are 4 key stages:
1. Piling & Excavation
2. Shuttering
3. Tencon Fill and
4. Finishing

Fast Base Foundations are installed by house-builders' existing groundwork contractors once given an approved status by Keskin Tencon Ltd.
