Shuttering Installation
Once the site has been cleared and the piles installed, the next stage is to install the shuttering for the Tencon Fast Base ground beams.
Any type of shuttering system may be used which ensures the correct ground beam section will be cast. In this example, Pecafil shuttering is used. The shuttered trenches are backfilled as required to provide additional support during Tencon Concrete pouring and curing. |

Tencon Fast Base Foundation Installation:
The installation process is similar to that used for constructing conventional cast in-situ foundations.
There are 4 key stages:
1. Piling & Excavation
2. Shuttering
3. Tencon Fill and
4. Finishing
Fast Base Foundations are installed by house-builders' existing groundwork contractors once given an approved status by Keskin Tencon Ltd.
